
My Story
In 2023 after four decades of drinking, three kids, a long corporate career and a brush with cancer, I finally decided to quit the booze once and for all and I haven’t looked back since.
So much has changed in my life as a result of that decision to change my relationship with alcohol.
I did sobriety like a carefully planned project and put everything in place to make sure I was going to succeed the first time and have only one day one.
From the outset, I joined an online sober community called tribesober,com for the support and connection, I hired a
sober coach, just like myself, for accountability and self development, and I listened to people’s alcohol change stories and podcasts 24 x 7.
I have retrained as a triple accredited coach in Positive Psychology and I am an Alcohol Change Practitioner offering
coaching services to anyone who is questioning their relationship with alcohol and wants to change for good.
I aim to empower you to live a happier and more productive life by developing a healthier relationship with alcohol. Whilst I have chosen an alcohol free life, I know that not everyone wants to do the same. I believe and support that any reduction in alcohol consumption is beneficial too.
I am here to listen, guide and help you define and achieve your goals relating to alcohol.

Through personalized coaching and support, I help you navigate the journey to sobriety and guide you towards a more positive and fulfilling life.
Working with me will be transformative and will make all the difference especially in the early stages of quitting. I will guide and mentor you through the challenges of early sobriety and because I have been through a similar journey and smashed becoming alcohol free, I just “get it” and I understand exactly what you are going through at every stage of the journey.
I have worked with many people along my own journey and know that a “one size fits all” approach to quitting the drink doesn’t always work. I advocate a “pick n mix” approach drawing expertise from lots of different programmes and frameworks and not just the traditional 12 step programme, to achieve lasting sobriety.
My Qualifications & Experience
Coaching Accreditation
I trained with the Andy Ramage Coach Business School and I am certified as a triple accredited coach in Positive Psychology and as an Alcohol Change Practitioner.
Drinking Career
I have had years of lived drinking experience and I understand what role alcohol played at each of the different stages of my life: as an executive in the corporate space, as a mum with young children, and as a mid life woman struggling with an empty nest and menopause symptoms.
Sober Retreat Organiser
I have hosted sober retreats in Europe and Bali helping women to flourish in their sobriety and live their best lives.
Workshop Facilitator
I have run workshops for groups of 10-12 people on
sobriety, alcohol and wellbeing, and mental health.
Corporate Career
Prior to retraining as a sober coach, I had a 20 year corporate career in a global Change Management Consultancy, as a COO in an Investment Bank and finally switching industry working as a primary school teacher in France.
Podcaster
I have presented on Youtube and various podcasts on the subjects of alcohol and the menopause, alcohol and relationships, alcohol and me.

Andy has been alcohol free for 10 years before sobriety was even on the social map. He fought against a tide that was not ready to embrace life without alcohol but he battled on and cemented a place in the sober space before anyone dared to. The Last Word
Maybe this story about the alcohol trap resonates with you.
So if you’re sick and tired of making repeated promises to yourself that you will cut back or stop drinking altogether, but by 5pm in the evening you start pouring the wine, promising yourself ‘just the one tonight”….. And then two hours later the bottle is finished and the self hatred starts to creep in.
You then go to bed feeling dejected and low only to wake at 3AM with a raging thirst and feelings of panic with thoughts of - what did I do? Why did I drink AGAIN? What’s wrong with me?- racing through your head.
Then by morning the doom and gloom and the self-loathing take over your mood only to dwindle away by the end of the afternoon when you’ve already forgotten what misery feels like and you start to think that maybe this time, you can have “just the one’ …
This is the ALCOHOL TRAP that so many of us find ourselves caught up in.
I get it! I was stuck in this cycle for years. On the outside everyone thought I was a fully capable and productive working mum but no one knew the misery and the constant battle of the demonic voices that were clattering away inside my head. The conflict was driving me crazy until I decided to do something about it.
I didn’t have a rock bottom but I had many, many low points which I am not proud of and would prefer to bury deep in my secret box.

I will help you reframe your old and limiting beliefs, so that you genuinely no longer want to drink.
